Cody Z. Winchester
Cody specializes in intellectual property and business law. Cody helps businesses acquire, protect, and exploit intellectual property rights, regularly counseling clients on a wide range of issues related to business formation and contracts, licensing, technology, trademarks, copyrights, and Internet and domain name law. Cody regularly represents clients whose trademarks rank among the top 100 global brands as identified by Interbrand/Business Week's annual survey and whose licensed properties rank among the top 100 global properties as measured by Global License. Cody is a graduate of Yale Law School, was the Yale Law Journal Book Reviews Editor (1994-1995), and clerked for United States Federal District Court Judge Dale A. Kimball (1997-1999). She has been repeatedly selected by her peers as one of Utah’s “Legal Elite” in the category of Intellectual Property (Utah Business Magazine).
